Abstract |
|---|
The author presents two cases of sacrococcygeal teratomas, which can present in multiple ways. They can be solid, complex, or cystic in sonographic appearance. Sacrococcygeal teratomas can be external, partially external and internal, or completely internal. This range of difference for the same pathology makes understanding sacrococcygeal teratomas an important tool for sonographers. It is hoped that these two cases show the extremes of sacrococcygeal teratomas and the experience in dealing with this difficult pathology.
